WARRANTY

Nordic Forge products are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials or craftsmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase.  This warranty does not apply to products which have been abused or misused, or products which have been altered or repaired without Nordic Forge authorization or products which are simply worn out from use.  In order to avail yourself of this warranty, you must within 30 days of the defect discovery provide Nordic Forge written notice specifying the defect, proof of the purchase date, and return the product claimed to be defective at your expense.  Nordic Forge shall, within 30 days repair or replace the product free of charge and return it to the customer, or provide written notification of findings which may disqualify the item from coverage under the terms of this warranty.

This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is hereby excluded.  In no event shall Nordic Forge be responsible for any incidental or consequential damages whatsoever.

WARNING

The Nordic Forge Full Warranty is not intended to be read as an absolute guarantee that all Nordic Forge products are failsafe.  Therefore, if you intend to use a Nordic Forge product in a manner where failure could result in loss or injury, you should take proper safety precautions.  Failure to do so shall constitute your willing acceptance of the risk of such loss or injury.  Always wear safety goggles when using tools yourself and be sure that other persons in your work area are similarly protected.  Never hit hardened metal surfaces together.

  • -- Use hand tools only for their designed purposes and within their size range

  • --Do not strike cutting or working edges of tool with hammer

  • --Do not use tools on materials harder than the point end or the cutting edge of the tool.

  • --Correct use in removing pins is to use a solid punch to start the pin and then follow through with the proper size of pin punch.

  • --Mushroomed heads of punches and chisels may chip and cause injury; keep heads ground down.

  • --Eye protection through the use of safety goggles or the equivalent by the user and all persons in the immediate area is recommended whenever using tools such as punches and chisels.
